The idea for these notelets
came out of our involvement in local fundraising activities over many years.
All too often, our search for
interesting and relevant campaign merchandise involved the purchase of
considerable quantities of a limited range of stock. This was rarely ‘bought
to order’ and therefore exposed our fundraising to the risk that the goods
remained unsold* fundraising needs to be about raising funds and not about the
speculative purchase of goods for sale.
